If you keep the same URL then your search engine rankings will not be affected. Pages on SBI sites use the .html extension and we can use a WordPress plug-in to keep the same extension if you want to do that. Posts and pages in WordPress do not use the .html extension as standard. If you want to move to the WordPress extension then we will set up 301 redirects from the old pages with the .html extension. This process is recommended by Google and will maintain your rankings
